Comparison review
The Huawei P40 has a global score of 86.4, which is a little bit better than the Google Pixel 2's 81.6 general score. Huawei P40's design is notably newer, but somewhat heavier and a bit thicker than Google Pixel 2. The Huawei P40 has a bit better processor than Google Pixel 2, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Huawei P40 also has a larger amount of RAM memory.
Google Pixel 2 counts with a screen that's very similar to the Huawei P40 one, because although the Google Pixel 2 has a quite smaller screen and a little bit worse resolution of 1080 x 1920, it also counts with a just a bit higher display pixels density. The Google Pixel 2 features as much memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos as the Huawei P40, both of them have exactly the same internal storage capacity.
Huawei P40 features a very superior battery duration than Google Pixel 2, because it has 3800mAh of battery capacity instead of 2700mAh. The Huawei P40 captures greater pictures and videos than Google Pixel 2, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not favorable for low-light captures and video, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the Huawei P40 also counts with a back facing camera with lot more megapixels, a much bigger sensor and higher video frame rates.
Although Huawei P40 is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Google Pixel 2, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Google Pixel 2. If you are trying to save some money, you can buy Google Pixel 2, giving up a couple features, but you will get the most out of your money.
