Comparison review

The Huawei P40 is just a bit better than the LG V50 ThinQ, getting an 86.4 score against 83.7. The Huawei P40 design has the same thickness than LG V50 ThinQ, but it's a bit lighter. Both of these phones have the same Android 10 OS (Operating System). The LG V50 ThinQ has a bit sharper display than Huawei P40, because it has a higher 1440 x 3120 resolution, a greater quantity of pixels per inch of display and a little larger display.

Huawei P40 and LG V50 ThinQ have extremely similar processing units, both of them have a 6 GB RAM memory and 8 cores. LG V50 ThinQ has a lot bigger storage for games and applications than Huawei P40, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage capacity, the LG V50 ThinQ also has a slot for external memory cards that allows a maximum of 1,95 TB.

Huawei P40 features a superior camera than LG V50 ThinQ, because although it has a much tinier aperture which is not so good for capturing pictures or video in low light situations, and they both have the same 60 frames per second video frame rate and the same (4K) video definition, the Huawei P40 also counts with a way bigger sensor taking much higher quality videos and photographs and a lot more mega pixels camera.

LG V50 ThinQ features a bit superior battery performance than Huawei P40, because it has a 5 percent larger battery size.

The Huawei P40 costs a bit more than LG V50 ThinQ, but you can get a better phone for that few more dollars.
