Huawei P40 has a global score of 86.4, which is slightly better than Samsung Galaxy A80's general score of 84.9. The Huawei P40 is a newer cellphone, and it's also thinner and extremely lighter than the Samsung Galaxy A80. Huawei P40 features a bit more powerful processor than Galaxy A80, although it has less RAM, they both have the same number of cores.
Huawei P40 counts with a bit sharper screen than Samsung Galaxy A80, because although it has a bit lower 1080 x 2340 resolution and a little smaller screen, it also counts with a little bit more pixels per display inch. Galaxy A80 has as much storage capacity for applications and games as Huawei P40, they have the same internal memory capacity.
Huawei P40 has just a little better battery lifetime than Galaxy A80, because it has 3800mAh of battery capacity instead of 3700mAh. The Huawei P40 takes better photos and videos than Galaxy A80, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, the Huawei P40 also has higher 60 frames per second video frame rate, a higher 50 MP resolution back-facing camera, a way bigger sensor taking way better quality videos and photographs and a larger diafragm aperture for better low light images and video.
