Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy M31s is slightly better than Huawei P40, with an 88 score against 86.4. Both of these phones have Android OS (Operating System), but Samsung Galaxy M31s has newer 11 version and Huawei P40 has Android 10 version. Even being the best in this review, Samsung Galaxy M31s is a heavier and somewhat thicker cellphone than the Huawei P40.
Huawei P40 counts with a little bit better performance than Galaxy M31s. Both of them have the same RAM amount and a Octa-Core processing unit. Huawei P40 has a little bit better display than Samsung Galaxy M31s, because although it has a little smaller screen and a bit lower resolution of 1080 x 2340px, it also counts with a little bit greater pixels number per inch in the screen.
Samsung Galaxy M31s has much more memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Huawei P40, and although they both have exactly the same 128 GB internal memory, the Samsung Galaxy M31s also has an external memory card slot that holds a maximum of 512 GB. The Huawei P40 takes clearer photographs and videos than Galaxy M31s, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not favorable for low light captures, a much worse resolution camera in the back and a lower (4K) video definition, it also counts with a lot larger camera sensor which provides a much higher photo and video quality.
The Galaxy M31s features a way better battery lifetime than Huawei P40, because it has 6000mAh of battery capacity.
