Comparison review
The Huawei P40 has a score of 86.4, which is just a bit better than the Sony Xperia XZ3's general score of 79.6. The Huawei P40 design is newer, thinner and just a little lighter than Sony Xperia XZ3. These phones use Android OS, but Huawei P40 has older 10 version and Sony Xperia XZ3 has Android 9.0 Pie.
The Xperia XZ3 has a brighter display than Huawei P40, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a higher resolution of 1440 x 2880px and a better number of pixels per inch in the screen. Huawei P40 counts with a bit more powerful processing unit than Sony Xperia XZ3, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Huawei P40 also has a greater amount of RAM memory.
The Sony Xperia XZ3 counts with a quite bigger storage for applications and games than Huawei P40, because although it has just 64 GB internal memory, it also counts with an external SD slot that allows up to 512 GB. The Huawei P40 shoots much better photos and videos than Xperia XZ3, and although they both have the same video definition, the Huawei P40 also has a bigger aperture, a camera in the back with way more mega-pixels, higher video frame rates and a much larger sensor shooting way better quality videos and photos.
Huawei P40 features just a little bit longer battery life than Sony Xperia XZ3, because it has a 3800mAh battery capacity.
Even being the best phone of the ones we compare here, the Huawei P40 is also by far the cheapest one.
