Comparison review
Huawei P50 is slightly better than the Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro, getting an 86.3 score against 84.2. The Huawei P50 has HarmonyOS OS, while Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro comes with Android 14 OS. The Huawei P50 is an incredibly older cellphone than Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro, but Huawei was able to make it somewhat thinner and somewhat lighter.
Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro features a better looking display than Huawei P50, because although it has a bit worse resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and a little bit worse screen pixels density, it also counts with a little bit larger screen. The Huawei P50 has a very superior processor than Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro, although it has a smaller amount of RAM, they both have 8 cores.
Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro shoots greater pictures and videos than Huawei P50, although it has a tinier camera aperture which is not favorable for low light captures and video, they both have a camera in the back with a 50 mega-pixels. The Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro and Huawei P50 both feature very similar memory for applications, games, photos and videos, both of them have exactly the same internal memory.
Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro features a really longer battery lifetime than Huawei P50, because it has a 34% bigger battery capacity.
