Huawei Mate 20 Pro is much better than the Huawei P8max, having a general score of 82.9 against 72.1. Even though Huawei Mate 20 Pro is incredibly thicker than Huawei P8max, it's somewhat lighter and also a lot newer. Huawei Mate 20 Pro features a bit faster processor than Huawei P8max, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Huawei Mate 20 Pro also has a larger amount of RAM memory.
Huawei Mate 20 Pro counts with a sharper display than Huawei P8max, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a way higher resolution of 1440 x 3120px and a much better screen pixel density. The Huawei Mate 20 Pro has just a bit more storage capacity for games and applications than Huawei P8max, because although it has no external memory card slot, it also counts with 128 GB internal memory.
Huawei P8max has just a bit better battery life than Huawei Mate 20 Pro, because it has a 4360mAh battery size instead of 4200mAh. Huawei Mate 20 Pro captures much better photographs and videos than Huawei P8max, because it has a back camera with a much better 40 mega pixels resolution, a lot higher 3840x2160 video quality and a bigger aperture.
