Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G has a score of 90.5, which is much better than the Huawei P8max's 72.1 global score. Even though the Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G is way thicker than Huawei P8max, it's lighter and extremely newer. Both devices in this review work with Android OS (operating system), but the Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G has the previous 10 version and Huawei P8max has Android 5.1 Lollipop.
The Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G has a bit superior processor than Huawei P8max, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G also has a greater amount of RAM memory. Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G counts with a little more vivid display than Huawei P8max, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a little bit higher 1176 x 2400px resolution and more pixels per display inch.
The Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G shoots much clearer pictures and videos than Huawei P8max, because it has a way better video resolution, a larger aperture and a much more mega pixels camera. The Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G has a much bigger memory to install applications and games than Huawei P8max, because although it has no external memory slot, it also counts with 256 GB internal storage capacity.
The Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G features a bit longer battery lifetime than Huawei P8max, because it has a 3% greater battery size.
