Comparison review
The Huawei Mate X has an overall score of 89.4, which is a lot better than the Huawei P8max's 72.1 score. The Huawei Mate X design is way newer than the Huawei P8max's, although it's thicker and extremely heavier. Both phones we compare here work with Android OS (operating system), but Huawei Mate X has a newer 9.0 Pie version while Huawei P8max has Android 5.1 Lollipop, offering some nice extra features.
Huawei Mate X has just a bit better display than Huawei P8max, because it has a bigger screen, a much higher resolution of 2200 x 2480 pixels and a higher screen density. The Huawei Mate X has a very superior memory for games and applications than Huawei P8max, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with 512 GB internal memory capacity.
Huawei Mate X counts with a bit more powerful CPU than Huawei P8max, and although they both have 8 cpu cores, the Huawei Mate X also has more RAM memory. Huawei Mate X counts with a superior camera than Huawei P8max, because it has a bigger camera aperture to take better photos in poorly lited environments and a much more MP back-facing camera.
The Huawei Mate X features a little better battery life than Huawei P8max, because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity.
