Comparison review
Huawei P20 Pro has an overall score of 81.4, which is much better than the Huawei P8max's overall score of 72.1. Huawei P20 Pro's design is newer and notably lighter than the Huawei P8max's, but it is somewhat thicker. Both phones we are comparing here include Android OS, but Huawei P20 Pro has 10 version and Huawei P8max has Android 5.1 Lollipop version.
Huawei P20 Pro features a little better hardware performance than Huawei P8max, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Huawei P20 Pro also has 3 GB more RAM memory. The Huawei P20 Pro counts with a bit more vivid screen than Huawei P8max, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a better pixel amount in each screen inch and a little higher resolution of 1080 x 2240 pixels.
The Huawei P20 Pro takes a lot better photos and videos than Huawei P8max, because it has a lot better (4K) video definition, a larger camera aperture to capture better low-light captures and videos and a back-facing camera with a much better resolution. The Huawei P20 Pro counts with a bit more memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Huawei P8max, because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with 128 GB internal memory.
The Huawei P8max features a bit better battery duration than Huawei P20 Pro, because it has a 4360mAh battery size instead of 4000mAh.
