Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy A40 is much better than the Huawei P8max, having a 79.6 score against 72.1. Samsung Galaxy A40's design is incredibly newer and a lot lighter than Huawei P8max's, but it is somewhat thicker. Both of these phones use Android OS (Operating System), but the Samsung Galaxy A40 has the previous 11 version while Huawei P8max has Android 5.1 Lollipop version.
Galaxy A40 has a bit sharper display than Huawei P8max, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a greater pixels number per inch of screen and a slightly better resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels. Huawei P8max features a little faster processing unit than Galaxy A40, although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, they both have 8 cpu cores.
The Galaxy A40 counts with a better camera than Huawei P8max, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same (Full HD) video quality, the Galaxy A40 also has a better 16 mega pixels resolution back camera and a larger aperture to capture better photos and videos in poorly lited environments.
The Galaxy A40 counts with more storage for applications and games than Huawei P8max, and although they both have exactly the same 64 GB internal storage capacity, the Galaxy A40 also has a slot for SD memory cards that supports up to 512 GB. Huawei P8max has a much better battery life than Galaxy A40, because it has 4360mAh of battery capacity.
