Comparison review
Galaxy S5 has a general score of 80.8, which is better than the Huawei P8max's score of 72.1. The Galaxy S5 body is notably lighter than the Huawei P8max, although it is somewhat thicker and was released just 12 months before. Both phones in our current comparison work with Android operating system, but the Galaxy S5 has the older 4.4.2 version while Huawei P8max has Android 5.1 Lollipop.
Samsung Galaxy S5 features a bit better performance than Huawei P8max, because although it has 4 lesser CPU cores , and they both have 3 GB of RAM memory, the Samsung Galaxy S5 also counts with a GPU. Galaxy S5 counts with a much better screen than Huawei P8max, because although it has a much smaller screen, and they both have the same exact 1920 x 1080px resolution, the Galaxy S5 also counts with a lot better quantity of pixels per inch in the display.
Huawei P8max counts with a lot bigger storage capacity for applications and games than Galaxy S5, and although they both have a slot for SD memory cards that allows a maximum of 128 GB, the Huawei P8max also has 64 GB internal memory capacity. The Huawei P8max features a way better battery life than Galaxy S5, because it has 4360mAh of battery capacity instead of 2800mAh.
Galaxy S5 features a much better camera than Huawei P8max, because although it has a tinier camera aperture which is not favorable for taking photos or videos in poorly lited environments, it also counts with a lot higher (4K) video quality and a more MP camera in the back.
