Galaxy XCover FieldPro is better than the Huawei P8max, with a overall score of 80.1 against 72.1. Both devices in this review use Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy XCover FieldPro has a newer 8.0 Oreo version while Huawei P8max has Android 5.1 Lollipop version. The Galaxy XCover FieldPro body is much newer, but thicker and somewhat heavier than Huawei P8max.
Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro counts with a much better screen than Huawei P8max, because although it has a lot smaller screen, it also counts with a much better screen pixels density and a better resolution of 1440 x 2560px. The Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro has a little bit better performance than Huawei P8max, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro also has a greater amount of RAM.
The Galaxy XCover FieldPro has more memory capacity for apps and games than Huawei P8max, and although they both have exactly the same 64 GB internal storage, the Galaxy XCover FieldPro also has a slot for external memory cards that allows a maximum of 512 GB. Galaxy XCover FieldPro captures clearer photographs and videos than Huawei P8max, because although it has a lower 1920x1080 (Full HD) video resolution and a lower resolution back camera, it also counts with a much larger diafragm aperture to capture better captures and videos in low-light environments.
Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro counts with a little better battery lifetime than Huawei P8max, because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity against 4360mAh.
