Xperia Z4v is a bit better than the Huawei P8max, having a 78.8 score against 72.1. Both phones in this review use Android operating system, but the Xperia Z4v has older 5.1 version and Huawei P8max has Android 5.1 Lollipop. Even though the Xperia Z4v and the Huawei P8max were only released with a couple of months difference, the Xperia Z4v body is a lot lighter but also way thicker.
Sony Xperia Z4v features a way better looking screen than Huawei P8max, because although it has a lot smaller screen, it also counts with a better resolution of 2560 x 1440px and a much higher display density. Xperia Z4v has just a little better performance than Huawei P8max, and although they both have 3 GB of RAM memory and the same number of cores, the Xperia Z4v also has an additional graphics processor.
Xperia Z4v captures much clearer photographs and videos than Huawei P8max, and although they both have a F2 aperture, the Xperia Z4v also has a way better (4K) video quality and a lot more MP back-facing camera. Huawei P8max features a lot bigger storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Sony Xperia Z4v, and although they both have a slot for external memory cards that allows up to 128 GB, the Huawei P8max also has 64 GB internal memory capacity.
Huawei P8max features a much longer battery life than Xperia Z4v, because it has 4360mAh of battery capacity against 3000mAh.
