The Xperia Z5 Premium is much better than Huawei P8max, with a 79.8 score against 72.1. Although Xperia Z5 Premium and Huawei P8max were only released with a couple months difference, Xperia Z5 Premium's body is incredibly lighter but somewhat thicker. Both phones in this review include Android OS (Operating System), but the Xperia Z5 Premium has the previous 5.1 version while Huawei P8max has Android 5.1 Lollipop.
The Xperia Z5 Premium features a bit better CPU than Huawei P8max, and although they both have 3 GB of RAM memory and 8 cpu cores, the Xperia Z5 Premium also has an extra graphics co-processor. Xperia Z5 Premium features an incredibly better looking screen than Huawei P8max, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a way higher screen density and a lot better 3840 x 2160px resolution.
The Huawei P8max features a better memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Xperia Z5 Premium, because although it has a SD memory slot that admits 72 GB smaller, it also counts with more internal storage capacity. The Xperia Z5 Premium has a greater camera than Huawei P8max, because it has a much better (4K) video definition, a lot more MP back camera and a bigger aperture to take better photography and videos in low light environments.
The Huawei P8max has better battery lifetime than Sony Xperia Z5 Premium, because it has 4360mAh of battery capacity.
