Huawei Mate 20 Pro is much better than the Huawei P8 Max, having a score of 82.9 against 72.6. Huawei Mate 20 Pro's construction is extremely newer and somewhat lighter, but also a lot thicker than Huawei P8 Max. Huawei Mate 20 Pro features a bit better display than Huawei P8 Max, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a lot higher 1440 x 3120 resolution and a lot more pixels per screen inch.
The Huawei Mate 20 Pro features a better performance than Huawei P8 Max, because it has more RAM and 7 more CPU cores. The Huawei Mate 20 Pro features a slightly bigger storage capacity for applications and games than Huawei P8 Max, because although it has no slot for an external memory card, it also counts with more internal storage.
The Huawei P8 Max features just a bit longer battery lifetime than Huawei Mate 20 Pro, because it has a 4360mAh battery size. Huawei Mate 20 Pro captures way better photos and videos than Huawei P8 Max, because it has a larger aperture for better low-light photography, a way higher 3840x2160 (4K) video quality and a camera with lot more mega pixels.
