Huawei Mate 9 Pro is just a bit better than the Huawei P8 Max, having a score of 78.7 against 72.6. Both of these phones use Android OS (Operating System), but the Huawei Mate 9 Pro has a more recent 8.0 Oreo version and Huawei P8 Max has Android 5.0, so it gives a couple additional features.
