Galaxy J8 is just a bit better than Huawei P8 Max, with a global score of 76.7 against 72.6. The Galaxy J8 design is much newer and extremely lighter, but somewhat thicker than Huawei P8 Max. Both of these phones include Android OS, but Galaxy J8 has a newer 10 version while Huawei P8 Max has Android 5.0 version, so it provides the user some nice extra features.
The Huawei P8 Max features a more vivid display than Samsung Galaxy J8, because it has a higher 1920 x 1080 resolution, a bit larger screen and a little better screen pixels density. Galaxy J8 features just a bit more memory to install games and applications than Huawei P8 Max, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage, the Galaxy J8 also has a slot for an SD memory card that supports a maximum of 256 GB.
The Galaxy J8 features a bit more powerful processing unit than Huawei P8 Max, because it has more CPU cores and a larger amount of RAM. The Huawei P8 Max has greater battery lifetime than Galaxy J8, because it has 4360mAh of battery capacity. The Samsung Galaxy J8 features a much better camera than Huawei P8 Max, and although they both have the same (Full HD) video resolution and the same video frame rate, the Samsung Galaxy J8 also has a more mega-pixels back facing camera and a larger diafragm aperture to take better images and videos in low light situations.
