Comparison review
Galaxy Note 4 is much better than Huawei P8 Max, having a general score of 81.6 against 72.6. The Galaxy Note 4 design is noticeably lighter but thicker than the Huawei P8 Max, and they were released only a couple months apart. These phones have the same Android 5.0 OS, so you shouldn't see any difference in that aspect.
The Galaxy Note 4 has a better performing processor than Huawei P8 Max, and although they both have the same RAM amount, the Galaxy Note 4 also has an extra graphics co-processor and a larger number of cores (and they are faster). Samsung Galaxy Note 4 counts with a better looking display than Huawei P8 Max, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a much greater count of pixels per inch of display and a higher resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels.
The Huawei P8 Max features a way bigger storage capacity to install games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Note 4, and although they both have a slot for an external memory card that admits a maximum of 128 GB, the Huawei P8 Max also has 64 GB internal storage. Galaxy Note 4 captures a lot better videos and photos than Huawei P8 Max, because although it has a tinier camera aperture which is not good for capturing photos or video in poorly lited environments, it also counts with a much better 3840x2160 video resolution and a camera with more megapixels.
Huawei P8 Max has a really longer battery performance than Samsung Galaxy Note 4, because it has a 35% larger battery size.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 not only is the best phones of the ones we compare here, but it's also a lot cheaper.
