Galaxy S6 is way better than Huawei P8 Max, having a global score of 87.4 against 72.6. Both phones in this review come with the same Android 5.0 operating system, so you shouldn't perceive any differences in that aspect. The Galaxy S6 design has the same thickness than Huawei P8 Max, but it's much lighter.
Galaxy S6 counts with a much powerful processor than Huawei P8 Max, and although they both have a 3 GB RAM, the Galaxy S6 also has a 64-bit CPU, a greater number of cores (and they are faster) and an additional GPU. Galaxy S6 has a much better display than Huawei P8 Max, because although it has a really smaller screen, it also counts with a way greater display density and a better resolution of 2560 x 1440.
Galaxy S6 counts with a little bit better storage to install applications and games than Huawei P8 Max, because although it has no SD memory slot, it also counts with 128 GB internal storage. The Huawei P8 Max has a much better battery duration than Galaxy S6, because it has 4360mAh of battery capacity against 2550mAh.
The Samsung Galaxy S6 counts with a way better camera than Huawei P8 Max, because it has a larger aperture to take better low-light images and video, a much higher 3840x2160 video resolution and a higher resolution back camera.
