The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge is better than the Huawei P8 Max, getting an 85.7 score against 72.6. These phones use the same Android 5.0 OS (operating system), so you shouldn't perceive any difference in that aspect.
Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge has a brighter display than Huawei P8 Max, because although it has a lot smaller display, it also counts with a way better pixel density and a better resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels.
