Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy A12 is a bit better than the Huawei P9 Plus, having an 80.3 score against 75.5. The Samsung Galaxy A12 is a much newer cellphone than Huawei P9 Plus, but it's way heavier and a lot thicker. These phones use Android operating system, but the Samsung Galaxy A12 has older 10 version while Huawei P9 Plus has Android 7.0 Nougat version.
Huawei P9 Plus features a more vivid display than Galaxy A12, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a better resolution of 1080 x 1920px and a higher pixels density. Huawei P9 Plus has a little better processing power than Samsung Galaxy A12. Both of them have 4 GB of RAM and 8 CPU cores.
The Samsung Galaxy A12 features much more storage capacity for applications and games than Huawei P9 Plus, and although they both have equal internal memory, the Samsung Galaxy A12 also has a SD card slot that admits a maximum of 1 TB. Galaxy A12 counts with a very superior battery life than Huawei P9 Plus, because it has a 47% bigger battery size.
Galaxy A12 takes much clearer videos and photos than Huawei P9 Plus, because although it has slower 30 fps video frame rate, and they both have the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video quality, the Galaxy A12 also counts with a much more megapixels camera in the back and a larger camera aperture to take better low-light images and video.
