The Galaxy A7 (2018) is better than the Huawei P9 Plus, getting an 84.2 score against 75.5. The Galaxy A7 (2018) design is much newer, but just a little thicker and just a bit heavier than Huawei P9 Plus. Huawei P9 Plus counts with a bit better processor than Samsung Galaxy A7 (2018), although it has 2 GB less RAM, they both have 8 CPU cores.

The Galaxy A7 (2018) and Huawei P9 Plus have very similar displays, although the Galaxy A7 (2018) also has a just a little more pixels per screen inch, a little bit larger display and a quite better 1080 x 2220 resolution. The Galaxy A7 (2018) has much more memory for apps and games than Huawei P9 Plus, because it has a slot for an external memory card that allows a maximum of 512 GB and 128 GB internal memory.

Galaxy A7 (2018) shoots a little bit better pictures and videos than Huawei P9 Plus, because although it has lower 30 fps video frame rates, and they both have the same 1920x1080 video resolution, the Galaxy A7 (2018) also counts with a bigger sensor capturing better quality videos and photos, a much larger aperture to capture better low-light captures and videos and a way more megapixels camera in the back.
