Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy M31 is better than the Huawei P9 Plus, getting an 86.5 score against 75.5. Both of these phones include Android operating system, but the Samsung Galaxy M31 has 11 version and Huawei P9 Plus has Android 7.0 Nougat version. Although the Samsung Galaxy M31 is incredibly newer than Huawei P9 Plus, it is noticeably thicker and heavier.
Galaxy M31 and Huawei P9 Plus have incredibly similar CPUs, and although the Galaxy M31 has a larger amount of RAM, they both have 8 CPU cores. Samsung Galaxy M31 has a bit better looking display than Huawei P9 Plus, because it has a quite higher number of pixels in each inch in the screen, a quite better 1080 x 2340 resolution and a bigger screen.
Samsung Galaxy M31 counts with a much better camera than Huawei P9 Plus, because it has a way better 3840x2160 video quality, a much bigger back-facing camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors, a larger aperture and a back camera with a lot better 64 mega pixels resolution. Galaxy M31 has a bit more storage to store more games and applications than Huawei P9 Plus, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory capacity, the Galaxy M31 also has a slot for SD memory cards that supports a maximum of 512 GB.
Galaxy M31 features a very superior battery duration than Huawei P9 Plus, because it has 6000mAh of battery capacity instead of 3400mAh.
