Galaxy S6 edge+ is a bit better than the Huawei P9 Plus, having a general score of 79.3 against 75.5. Galaxy S6 edge+'s construction has the same thickness than the Huawei P9 Plus, but it's just a little bit lighter. Both of these phones use Android OS, but Galaxy S6 edge+ has the older 5.1 version while Huawei P9 Plus has Android 7.0 Nougat.
The Huawei P9 Plus features a superior processing unit than Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+, and although they both have 4 GB of RAM, the Huawei P9 Plus also has a larger number of cores. The Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ counts with a brighter display than Huawei P9 Plus, because it has a better 2560 x 1440 resolution, a better pixels quantity per inch in the screen and a bit bigger screen.
The Galaxy S6 edge+ shoots slightly better photographs and videos than Huawei P9 Plus, because it has a larger diafragm aperture to capture better low-light captures, a bigger sensor capturing more light and vivid colors, a much higher video definition and a much more MP back-facing camera.
