Comparison review
HTC Desire has a score of 50.6, which is slightly better than Karbonn Smart A12 Star's 46.5 general score. Although it's the best device in our current comparison, the HTC Desire design is somewhat thicker and a little bit heavier than the Karbonn Smart A12 Star. These phones have Android OS, but the HTC Desire has an older 2.2 version and Karbonn Smart A12 Star has Android 4.4.2 version.
Karbonn Smart A12 Star has a bit superior processor than HTC Desire, because although it has 64 MB less RAM and doesn't have an extra graphics processor, it also counts with a larger number of cores (and also faster). The HTC Desire counts with just a bit better display than Karbonn Smart A12 Star, because although it has a bit smaller display, and they both have exactly the same resolution of 800 x 480 pixels, the HTC Desire also counts with a little better screen pixels density.
The Karbonn Smart A12 Star captures just a bit better videos and photos than HTC Desire. They have a same resolution camera. The Karbonn Smart A12 Star counts with a very superior storage for apps and games than HTC Desire. Both have a SD memory card expansion slot that holds a maximum of 32 GB. HTC Desire and Karbonn Smart A12 Star both count with quite similar batteries duration.
The HTC Desire not only is the best phones of the ones we compare here, but it's also a bargain compared to the other phones.
