The Xperia XZ1 is a bit better than the Kyocera DuraForce Ultra, getting a 78.3 score against 72.2. Xperia XZ1 is an noticeably older device than the Kyocera DuraForce Ultra, but Sony could make it much thinner and way lighter. Xperia XZ1 has a processor that is very similar to the Kyocera DuraForce Ultra one, and although the Xperia XZ1 has a lower amount of RAM memory, they both have a Octa-Core CPU.
Kyocera DuraForce Ultra has a little sharper display than Sony Xperia XZ1, because it has a little higher number of pixels in each screen inch, a little bit higher resolution of 1080 x 2160 pixels and a quite larger screen. The Xperia XZ1 takes much clearer photos and videos than Kyocera DuraForce Ultra, although it has a camera with a much worse 19 mega pixels resolution, a tinier diafragm aperture which is not favorable for low light images and a lower 3840x2160 (4K) video definition.
Kyocera DuraForce Ultra counts with slightly more storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Xperia XZ1, because although it has a slot for an SD memory card that allows 976 GB smaller, it also counts with 128 GB internal storage capacity. The Kyocera DuraForce Ultra counts with a much better battery performance than Sony Xperia XZ1, because it has a 4500mAh battery capacity.
