Comparison review

The HTC Wildfire S has a score of 47.7, which is a bit better than Kyocera Echo's 43.8 global score. HTC Wildfire S is a thinner and lighter phone than the Kyocera Echo, although they were released only a couple months apart. These phones use Android operating system, but the HTC Wildfire S has newer 2.3.4 version and Kyocera Echo has Android 2.3 version, so it offers some extra features and better performance.

Kyocera Echo features a bit more vivid display than HTC Wildfire S, because it has a little larger screen, a way better 800 x 480 resolution and a better pixel density. HTC Wildfire S's storage capacity for games and applications is just as good as Kyocera Echo's one, they have a SD extension slot that holds up to 32 GB.

The Kyocera Echo counts with a little bit better hardware performance than HTC Wildfire S, although it has a slower graphics co-processor running at 128 megahertz, they both have the same number of cores and 512 MB of RAM. The HTC Wildfire S counts with a much better camera than Kyocera Echo. Both have a same resolution camera in the back, the same 720x480 video quality and the same video frame rate.

The Kyocera Echo has just a little bit longer battery duration than HTC Wildfire S, because it has an 11 percent larger battery size.

Even being the best phone of the ones we are comparing here, the HTC Wildfire S is also very cheap compared to the other ones.
