Xperia acro S has a global score of 62, which is just a bit better than the Kyocera Hydro Icon's 56.5 overall score. These devices come with Android operating system, but Xperia acro S has 4.0.4 version and Kyocera Hydro Icon has Android 4.4.2. Despite being the best in this comparison review, the Xperia acro S design is a little bit thicker and just a bit heavier than the Kyocera Hydro Icon.
The Kyocera Hydro Icon features a little bit better performance than Xperia acro S, because it has 512 MB more RAM, 2 more cpu cores and a better graphics processor running at 450 megahertz. Xperia acro S features a little more vivid display than Kyocera Hydro Icon, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a higher 1280 x 720 resolution and a higher pixel density.
Xperia acro S counts with a superior storage capacity for apps and games than Kyocera Hydro Icon, and although they both have a SD memory slot that admits a maximum of 32 GB, the Xperia acro S also has more internal storage capacity. The Kyocera Hydro Icon has a little better battery lifetime than Xperia acro S, because it has 2000mAh of battery capacity instead of 1910mAh.
Sony Xperia acro S captures a bit better videos and photos than Kyocera Hydro Icon, and although they both have the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video resolution and the same video frame rate, the Sony Xperia acro S also has a back facing camera with lot more megapixels.
