Comparison review
Galaxy Note Edge has a general score of 81.7, which is slightly better than the LG G Flex 2's 75.2 general score. Both devices in this review use the same Android 5.0 OS (operating system). Although the Galaxy Note Edge and LG G Flex 2 were released with only 4 months difference, Galaxy Note Edge's construction is heavier but also somewhat thinner than LG G Flex 2.
LG G Flex 2 has a bit better processor than Samsung Galaxy Note Edge, and although they both have 3 GB of RAM memory, the LG G Flex 2 also has a faster graphics processing unit running at 600 MHz, a larger number of cores (but slower) and a 64-bits processor. Galaxy Note Edge counts with just a bit better screen than LG G Flex 2, because it has more pixels per display inch, a quite larger screen and a higher resolution of 2560 x 1440.
The LG G Flex 2 and the Galaxy Note Edge count with extremely similar storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos, both of them have the same internal storage capacity and an external SD slot that allows up to 128 GB. Samsung Galaxy Note Edge has a battery duration that's very similar to LG G Flex 2's battery duration.
Samsung Galaxy Note Edge shoots much better photographs and videos than LG G Flex 2, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 video quality and the same 30 fps video frame rates, the Samsung Galaxy Note Edge also has a camera in the back with more mega pixels.
Although Galaxy Note Edge is a better device, it costs a lot more than the LG G Flex 2, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as LG G Flex 2. So if you need that extra features, you can buy Galaxy Note Edge, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and buy the LG G Flex 2, letting go some specifications.
