Galaxy A8 Star is slightly better than the LG G Pro 2, with a score of 82.1 against 74.8. These phones have Android operating system, but Galaxy A8 Star has the newer 9.0 Pie version and LG G Pro 2 has Android 5.0 version. Galaxy A8 Star's body is extremely newer and just a bit thinner than the LG G Pro 2's, although it's a little bit heavier.
The Galaxy A8 Star's processor is just as good as the processing unit in LG G Pro 2, because although the Galaxy A8 Star has doesn't have an additional GPU, it also counts with a greater amount of RAM memory and more cpu cores (but slower). LG G Pro 2 has a bit better display than Samsung Galaxy A8 Star, although it has a little lower pixels density, a quite smaller display and a bit lower resolution of 1920 x 1080.
The Galaxy A8 Star has a bit better camera than LG G Pro 2, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 video quality and the same 30 frames per second video frame rate, the Galaxy A8 Star also has a bigger sensor taking better quality videos and photos, a back camera with more megapixels and a way larger diafragm aperture for better low-light photography and video.
The Samsung Galaxy A8 Star has a superior storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than LG G Pro 2, because it has a SD memory card expansion slot that supports up to 400 GB and 32 GB more internal storage capacity. Samsung Galaxy A8 Star features a little better battery lifetime than LG G Pro 2, because it has a 3700mAh battery size.
