Comparison review

The LG G5 has a general score of 76.1, which is a bit better than the LG G2's score of 73.7. Both of these phones use Android operating system, but LG G5 has 8.0 Oreo version while LG G2 has Android 4.4.2. The LG G5 is a newer and somewhat thinner phone than LG G2, although it is heavier. The LG G2 features a little bit better processing power than LG G5, because although it has less RAM, and they both have a Quad-Core processing unit, the LG G2 also counts with a graphics processor.

LG G2 features a bit more vivid screen than LG G5, although it has a quite smaller display, a lot lower resolution of 1920 x 1080 and a little lower screen density. The LG G5 features a way bigger storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than LG G2. Both have exactly the same internal storage capacity.

The LG G2 has just a bit longer battery life than LG G5, because it has a 7% more battery size. LG G5 counts with a bit better camera than LG G2, because it has a back facing camera with a better resolution, a much better video resolution, a much larger aperture and a larger sensor taking better quality photographs.

Although LG G5 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than LG G2, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as LG G2. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy the LG G5, else you can save some money and get the LG G2, letting go some features and specs.
