The Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018) has a global score of 79.2, which is just a bit better than LG G2's 73.7 general score. Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018)'s design is newer and just a little thinner, but somewhat heavier than the LG G2. LG G2 counts with a much better looking display than Galaxy A8 (2018), although it has a bit worse display pixels density, a quite smaller display and a bit lower resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels.

LG G2 counts with a bit superior processor than Galaxy A8 (2018), because although it has less RAM and 4 less CPU cores (but faster), it also counts with an additional GPU. The Galaxy A8 (2018) features a lot bigger storage to install applications and games than LG G2, because it has more internal storage capacity.

The LG G2 and the Galaxy A8 (2018) both have quite similar cameras, because although the Galaxy A8 (2018) has lower video frame rates, and they both have the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video quality, it also counts with a much larger aperture for better low light captures and video and a camera with a better resolution.

The Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018)'s battery duration is just as good as the battery duration in LG G2.
