Comparison review

Galaxy J8 is a bit better than the LG G2, getting a general score of 76.7 against 73.7. Both phones we are comparing use Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy J8 has 10 version and LG G2 has Android 4.4.2. The Galaxy J8 construction is a lot newer and a little thinner than the LG G2's, but it is also somewhat heavier.

The LG G2 has a much more vibrant screen than Samsung Galaxy J8, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a way better pixels density and a higher 1920 x 1080 resolution. The Samsung Galaxy J8 has a much bigger storage capacity for games and applications than LG G2, because it has 64 GB internal memory.

LG G2 has a bit better CPU than Samsung Galaxy J8, because although it has 4 less processing cores and 2 GB lesser RAM, it also counts with an additional GPU. Galaxy J8 counts with just a bit longer battery performance than LG G2, because it has a 17 percent more battery size. The Galaxy J8 captures slightly better videos and photos than LG G2, because although it has slower video frame rates, and they both have the same (Full HD) video quality, the Galaxy J8 also counts with a back camera with more megapixels, a bigger sensor shooting higher quality photographs and a lot larger aperture for better images in poorly lited environments.
