Samsung Galaxy Note8 is better than the LG G2, with an 83 score against 73.7. These phones have Android OS (operating system), but the Samsung Galaxy Note8 has 9.0 Pie version and LG G2 has Android 4.4.2 version. Samsung Galaxy Note8's construction is incredibly newer and a bit thinner, but much heavier than the LG G2.

Galaxy Note8 features a bit more powerful processing unit than LG G2, because although it has doesn't have a graphics co-processor, it also counts with a larger amount of RAM and 4 more cores. LG G2 has a little sharper display than Galaxy Note8, although it has a quite smaller display, a lot worse resolution of 1920 x 1080px and a bit worse display pixels density.

The Samsung Galaxy Note8 counts with a bit better camera than LG G2, because although it has a less megapixels resolution camera, it also counts with a bigger back camera sensor providing a better image quality, a much bigger aperture to capture better photos and videos in low light environments and a lot better 3840x2160 (4K) video quality.

Galaxy Note8 has a much greater memory for apps and games than LG G2, because it has 64 GB internal memory capacity. Galaxy Note8 has a bit longer battery lifetime than LG G2, because it has a 10 percent larger battery size.

Although Galaxy Note8 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than LG G2, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as LG G2. If you prefer to save a few dollars, you can buy LG G2, letting go some specs and features, but you'll get the most out of your money.
