The Galaxy S5 is a bit better than the LG G2, having a 77.7 score against 73.7. The Galaxy S5 body is newer and just a little thinner, but a little bit heavier than the LG G2. Both devices in this review have the same Android 4.4.2 operating system. The Galaxy S5 counts with a bit faster CPU than LG G2, and although they both have the same RAM amount and 4 cores, the Galaxy S5 also has a faster 500 MHz graphics co-processor.
The LG G2 features a bit better display than Galaxy S5, although it has a bit worse 1920 x 1080 resolution, they both have the same count of pixels per display inch and a screen with the same size. The Samsung Galaxy S5 captures just a bit better photographs and videos than LG G2, because it has a larger camera aperture, a lot better 3840x2160 video quality, a larger sensor which gives a better photo and video quality and a higher 16 megapixels resolution back facing camera.
Galaxy S5 has a better memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than LG G2, although it has 0 less internal memory. LG G2 has a little longer battery life than Samsung Galaxy S5, because it has 3000mAh of battery capacity against 2800mAh.
Galaxy S5 costs a bit more money than LG G2, but it's still a great deal, as you can get a lot more features for that extra money.
