Comparison review

The Galaxy S5 is a bit better than the LG G2, having a overall score of 80.8 against 73.7. Both phones in our current comparison have the same Android 4.4.2 OS (Operating System), so they should give all the same operating system features. Although the Galaxy S5 is a little bit heavier than LG G2, it's a bit thinner and newer.

Galaxy S5 features a bit sharper screen than LG G2, because although it has a little smaller screen, and they both have exactly the same 1920 x 1080px resolution, the Galaxy S5 also counts with a greater pixels count in each display inch. The Galaxy S5 has a superior storage capacity to store more games and applications than LG G2. Both have the same 32 GB internal memory capacity.

The Samsung Galaxy S5 has just a bit better processing power than LG G2, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Samsung Galaxy S5 also has a greater amount of RAM memory and a faster graphics co-processor working at 500 MHz. Samsung Galaxy S5 shoots a bit better videos and photos than LG G2, because it has a more megapixels camera in the back, a bigger back-facing camera sensor capturing higher quality pictures, a lot higher video resolution and a larger aperture.

The LG G2 counts with just a little better battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy S5, because it has a 7% larger battery capacity.

Although Galaxy S5 is a better device, it is way more expensive than LG G2, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as LG G2. If you are trying to save some money, you can buy LG G2, letting go a few features and specs, but you'll get the most out of your budget.
