Comparison review

The Xperia Z5 is slightly better than the LG G2, getting a general score of 77.6 against 73.7. Both devices in this review work with Android OS (operating system), but the Xperia Z5 has the newer 5.1 version and LG G2 has Android 4.4.2 version, giving some nice extra features and performance improvements. Even though Xperia Z5 is just a bit heavier than the LG G2, it's somewhat thinner and much newer.

LG G2 features a little sharper display than Sony Xperia Z5. Both of them have a screen of the same size, an equal 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution and the same amount of pixels per inch of display. The Sony Xperia Z5 has a much greater storage for apps and games than LG G2. Both of them have exactly the same 32 GB internal memory.

The Xperia Z5 counts with a little better processing power than LG G2, and although they both have a 450 MHz graphics processing unit, the Xperia Z5 also has a higher number of cores (although slower) and a larger amount of RAM. LG G2 features a bit longer battery life than Sony Xperia Z5, because it has a 3 percent more battery size.

The Sony Xperia Z5 has a much better camera than LG G2, because it has a much larger camera sensor shooting much higher quality photos, a much better (4K) video quality, a much larger aperture for better low-light images and video and a lot more MP camera.

Although Xperia Z5 is a better device, it is way more expensive than LG G2, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as LG G2. So if you need that extra features, you can buy the Xperia Z5, else you can save some dollars and buy the LG G2, giving up some features and specifications.
