Comparison review

The LG G5 has a general score of 76.1, which is a little bit better than the Google Nexus 5's general score of 76. Both of these phones include Android OS (operating system), but the LG G5 has a more recent 8.0 Oreo version and Google Nexus 5 has Android 4.4.3 version, so it offers some additional features and increased performance. LG G5's design is much newer and somewhat thinner, but also somewhat heavier than the Google Nexus 5.

The Google Nexus 5 features a bit better looking display than LG G5, although it has a much lower 1920 x 1080 resolution, a little bit smaller display and a quite inferior pixels count in each inch in the display. LG G5 counts with a very superior storage capacity for applications and games than Google Nexus 5, and although they both have the same 32 GB internal storage, the LG G5 also has a slot for an external memory card that holds a maximum of 1,95 TB.

The Google Nexus 5 counts with just a bit better hardware performance than LG G5, because although it has a lower amount of RAM memory, and they both have a Quad-Core CPU, the Google Nexus 5 also counts with an additional graphics co-processor. LG G5 counts with a better camera than Google Nexus 5, because it has a way higher video quality, a way larger aperture for better photos and video in low-light environments, a larger back camera sensor shooting better quality videos and pictures and a way more mega-pixels camera in the back.

The LG G5 has improved battery lifetime than Google Nexus 5, because it has a 2800mAh battery capacity.

Although LG G5 is a better device, it costs a bit more money than the Google Nexus 5, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Google Nexus 5. If you want to save some dollars, you can get Google Nexus 5, and give up some specs and features, but you'll get the most with your savings.
