Comparison review

LG G5 is slightly better than the OnePlus 8, with a general score of 76.1 against 76. The LG G5 is an extremely older cellphone than OnePlus 8, but LG was able to make it just a bit thinner and somewhat lighter. The OnePlus 8 counts with a bit better processor than LG G5, because it has a greater amount of RAM memory and a higher number of cores (and also faster).

OnePlus 8 counts with a little sharper screen than LG G5, because although it has a little worse resolution of 1080 x 2400 and much less pixels per inch of display, it also counts with a bigger screen. The OnePlus 8 captures much better pictures and videos than LG G5, and although they both have the same video resolution and a F1.8 aperture, the OnePlus 8 also has higher video frame rates, a way larger camera sensor and a camera in the back with a lot better 48 MP resolution.

LG G5 features a much greater memory capacity for applications and games than OnePlus 8, because although it has 0 less internal storage capacity, it also counts with a slot for an SD memory card that admits a maximum of 1,95 TB. The OnePlus 8 features a very superior battery life than LG G5, because it has a 54% more battery size.

Although LG G5 is a better device, it costs a lot more than the OnePlus 8, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the OnePlus 8. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy LG G5, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and buy the OnePlus 8, letting go some specifications.
