The Xperia XZ3 is slightly better than LG G5, with a score of 79.6 against 76.1. Both of these devices have Android operating system, but Xperia XZ3 has the newer 9.0 Pie version and LG G5 has Android 8.0 Oreo version, so it gives lots of additional features. Xperia XZ3's design is newer than the LG G5's, although it is heavier and a lot thicker.

Xperia XZ3 shoots a little bit better photos and videos than LG G5, because although it has a smaller aperture which is worse for low light photography and videos, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition and the same 30 frames per second video frame rate, the Xperia XZ3 also counts with a higher resolution camera and a larger sensor.

LG G5 has slightly more memory to install applications and games than Xperia XZ3, because although it has 0 less internal storage capacity, it also counts with a SD memory card expansion slot that allows up to 1,95 TB. The Xperia XZ3 has greater battery life than LG G5, because it has a 19 percent greater battery capacity.

Although Xperia XZ3 is a better device, it costs a lot more than LG G5, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the LG G5. So if you want that extra features, you can buy the Xperia XZ3, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and get the LG G5, giving up a couple features and specs.
