The iPhone 8 Plus is much better than the LG G6, having an 87.1 score against 75.6. The iPhone 8 Plus construction is heavier but just a little bit thinner than the LG G6, and they were released with only a few months difference. Apple iPhone 8 Plus has a better performance than LG G6, because although it has 1 GB lesser RAM, it also counts with a larger number of faster cores and a 64 bits processor.
LG G6 has a little more vivid screen than Apple iPhone 8 Plus, because it has a much better 1440 x 2880px resolution, a little bit larger screen and a greater pixel amount per inch in the screen. The iPhone 8 Plus takes clearer videos and photos than LG G6, because although it has a worse (4K) video resolution and a lower resolution camera, and they both have a F1.8 aperture, the iPhone 8 Plus also counts with a larger sensor capturing more light and vivid colors.
IPhone 8 Plus features a slightly bigger storage for games and applications than LG G6, because although it has no external memory slot, it also counts with more internal storage. The LG G6 features improved battery lifetime than iPhone 8 Plus, because it has 3300mAh of battery capacity instead of 2691mAh.
Although iPhone 8 Plus is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than LG G6, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as LG G6. If you prefer to save a few dollars, you can get the LG G6, giving up some specs and features, but you'll get the most out of your budget.
