Comparison review
LG G8 ThinQ is much better than the LG G6, having a score of 84.3 against 75.6. LG G8 ThinQ is a much newer cellphone than LG G6, although it's just a bit heavier and a little thicker. Both of these phones come with the same Android 9.0 Pie OS (operating system), so you shouldn't perceive any difference regarding that.
The LG G8 ThinQ has a bit sharper screen than LG G6, because although it has a little bit lower display pixel density, it also counts with a quite better 1440 x 3120 resolution and a bit bigger display. The LG G8 ThinQ features just a bit better performance than LG G6, because it has a higher amount of RAM and a higher number of faster cores.
LG G8 ThinQ counts with a superior storage capacity for games and applications than LG G6, and although they both have a slot for an SD memory card that allows up to 1,95 TB, the LG G8 ThinQ also has 96 GB more internal storage. LG G8 ThinQ has a bit superior battery performance than LG G6, because it has a 3500mAh battery size instead of 3300mAh.
The LG G8 ThinQ shoots slightly better pictures and videos than LG G6, because although it has a back facing camera with less megapixels and a worse 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, it also counts with a bigger aperture for better low light photography and videos and a bigger camera sensor taking higher quality photos.
The LG G8 ThinQ costs more than the LG G6, but you can get a better phone for that extra dollars.
