Comparison review

Moto Z2 Play has a global score of 77.4, which is just a bit better than LG G6's score of 75.6. Moto Z2 Play is a lighter and notably thinner phone than the LG G6, even though both of them were released with only 4 months difference. LG G6 counts with a slightly better screen than Moto Z2 Play, because it has a quite bigger display, a greater pixels density and a way higher 1440 x 2880 resolution.

Moto Z2 Play has more storage for apps and games than LG G6, and although they both have an external memory card slot that supports a maximum of 1,95 TB, the Moto Z2 Play also has more internal storage capacity. Moto Z2 Play has a little better processing power than LG G6, and although they both have 4 GB of RAM, the Moto Z2 Play also has more CPU cores.

LG G6 captures clearer photos and videos than Moto Z2 Play, because although it has a tinier camera aperture, and they both have the same (4K) video quality and the same video frame rate, the LG G6 also counts with a more mega pixels back facing camera. The LG G6 has a bit longer battery life than Moto Z2 Play, because it has a 10 percent more battery capacity.

Although Moto Z2 Play is a better device, it is more expensive than the LG G6, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as LG G6. If you prefer to save some dollars, you can get the LG G6, letting go a couple features and specs, but you will get the most with your savings.
