The Galaxy J8 is slightly better than the LG G6, with a global score of 76.7 against 75.6. Both devices in this review come with Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy J8 has 10 version and LG G6 has Android 9.0 Pie version. The Galaxy J8 design is newer than the LG G6's, although it is a bit thicker and a bit heavier.
The LG G6 counts with an incredibly better screen than Galaxy J8, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a much better pixels number per inch of screen and a way higher resolution of 1440 x 2880 pixels. LG G6 counts with a greater memory for apps and games than Samsung Galaxy J8, because although it has less internal memory capacity, it also counts with a slot for external memory cards that holds a maximum of 1,95 TB.
The LG G6 has a little faster processor than Galaxy J8, although it has less cores , they both have a 4 GB RAM. The LG G6 counts with a bit better camera than Samsung Galaxy J8, because although it has a lower 13 MP resolution camera in the back, a tinier back camera sensor which offers a worse image and video quality and a tinier camera aperture which is not so good for capturing pictures or video in low light environments, it also counts with a way higher 3840x2160 (4K) video definition.
Samsung Galaxy J8 counts with a little better battery performance than LG G6, because it has a 3500mAh battery size.
