Comparison review

Samsung Galaxy Note8 is slightly better than the LG G6, with an 83 score against 75.6. Both of these phones come with the same Android 9.0 Pie OS (operating system), so you shouldn't perceive any difference in that aspect. Although it's the best we compare here, Samsung Galaxy Note8 is an a little thicker and heavier phone than the LG G6.

The LG G6 has a bit sharper display than Samsung Galaxy Note8, because although it has a little smaller screen and a little bit lower 1440 x 2880 pixels resolution, it also counts with a little bit more pixels per display inch. The LG G6 has a greater storage capacity to store more games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Note8, because although it has less internal storage, it also counts with a slot for an SD memory card that holds a maximum of 1,95 TB.

Galaxy Note8 counts with a bit better hardware performance than LG G6, because it has a greater number of cores and 2 GB more RAM. The Samsung Galaxy Note8 counts with just a bit better camera than LG G6, because although it has a camera in the back with a lower 12 mega pixels resolution and a lower 3840x2160 video resolution, it also counts with a bigger back camera sensor which offers a higher image and video quality and a larger aperture to take better photos and video in low-light situations.

The Galaxy Note8's battery lifetime is very similar to LG G6's battery duration.

Although Galaxy Note8 is a better device, it costs a lot more than the LG G6, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the LG G6. So if you need that extra features, you can buy Galaxy Note8, else you can save some money and get the LG G6, giving up some features and specs.
