Comparison review

The Galaxy S5 has a global score of 80.8, which is a bit better than LG G6's 75.6 score. Both phones we compare here work with Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy S5 has an older 4.4.2 version and LG G6 has Android 9.0 Pie version. Galaxy S5 is an extremely older and a little thicker cellphone than the LG G6, but Samsung was able to make it lighter anyway.

Galaxy S5 has a better looking screen than LG G6, because although it has a little bit smaller screen and a way worse 1920 x 1080 resolution, it also counts with a just a bit better quantity of pixels in each inch in the display. The LG G6 has much more memory for games and applications than Galaxy S5, and although they both have equal 32 GB internal storage, the LG G6 also has a SD memory card expansion slot that admits up to 1,95 TB.

The Galaxy S5 counts with a bit better processor than LG G6, because although it has a lower amount of RAM, and they both have 4 cores, the Galaxy S5 also counts with a graphics co-processor. The Galaxy S5 takes a bit better videos and photos than LG G6, because although it has a smaller aperture, and they both have the same (4K) video resolution and the same video frame rates, the Galaxy S5 also counts with a larger sensor providing a better image quality and a better resolution back facing camera.

The LG G6 counts with greater battery lifetime than Galaxy S5, because it has an 18% larger battery capacity.

Although Galaxy S5 is a better device, it costs a lot more than the LG G6, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the LG G6. If you want to save a few dollars, you can buy LG G6, giving up a few features and specs, but you will get the most with your money.
