Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus is just a bit better than the LG G6, getting a score of 78.1 against 75.6. Both devices in our current comparison come with Android OS, but the Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus has 4.4.2 version while LG G6 has Android 9.0 Pie. The Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus construction is somewhat lighter than LG G6, but it's a little thicker and was released 3 years before.
Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus has a bit sharper screen than LG G6, although it has a bit smaller display, a way worse 1920 x 1080 resolution and a bit worse quantity of pixels per inch of screen. The Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus counts with just a bit better processing power than LG G6, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, and they both have a Quad-Core CPU, the Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus also counts with an additional graphics co-processor.
LG G6 features a lot bigger storage to store more games and applications than Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus, because it has a SD card slot that supports up to 1,95 TB and 32 GB internal memory. Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus has a little bit better camera than LG G6, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is not favorable for low-light images and video, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video definition and the same 30 fps video frame rate, the Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus also counts with a camera in the back with a higher resolution and a bigger camera sensor.
LG G6 features improved battery performance than Galaxy S5 Plus, because it has an 18% more battery size.
Although Galaxy S5 Plus is a better device, it is way more expensive than LG G6, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as LG G6. If you want to save a few dollars, you can get the LG G6, giving up a few features and specs, but you'll get the most out of your budget.
