Comparison review
The Galaxy S5 Sport is a bit better than the LG G6, getting a 77.8 score against 75.6. The Galaxy S5 Sport construction is a bit lighter than the LG G6, but it is thicker and was released 3 years before. Both phones we compare here include Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy S5 Sport has 4.4.2 version and LG G6 has Android 9.0 Pie.
Samsung Galaxy S5 Sport features a bit better looking display than LG G6, although it has a little lower amount of pixels per inch of display, a way worse resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and a little bit smaller display. Galaxy S5 Sport counts with just a bit better performance than LG G6, because although it has a lower amount of RAM, and they both have 4 CPU cores, the Galaxy S5 Sport also counts with a graphics processor.
LG G6 has a much greater storage capacity for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy S5 Sport, because it has more internal storage and a slot for SD memory cards that allows up to 1,95 TB. Samsung Galaxy S5 Sport captures a little bit better photos and videos than LG G6, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not recommended for low light photos and video, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video resolution and the same 30 frames per second video frame rate, the Samsung Galaxy S5 Sport also counts with a bigger sensor providing a higher image quality and a camera with a better 16 mega-pixels resolution.
The LG G6 has superior battery lifetime than Galaxy S5 Sport, because it has an 18 percent greater battery capacity.
Although Galaxy S5 Sport is a better device, it costs a lot more money than LG G6, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as LG G6. If you prefer to save some money, you can buy LG G6, giving up a few features and specs, but you'll get the most with your savings.
