Comparison review
The Galaxy S6 Active has a score of 80.9, which is slightly better than the LG G6's 75.6 general score. Both devices in this review come with Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy S6 Active has the previous 5.0 version while LG G6 has Android 9.0 Pie. Galaxy S6 Active's body is much lighter but somewhat thicker than the LG G6.
The Samsung Galaxy S6 Active features a faster CPU than LG G6, because although it has 1 GB less RAM, it also counts with a 64-bits CPU, an additional GPU and a higher number of cores. The Galaxy S6 Active features a much better screen than LG G6, because although it has a little lower 2560 x 1440 pixels resolution and a little smaller display, it also counts with a just a little better screen density.
The LG G6 has a much greater storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy S6 Active. They have the same internal memory. The LG G6 has a much better camera than Galaxy S6 Active, because although it has a camera in the back with a worse resolution, a lower video resolution and a tinier camera sensor providing a lower image quality, it also counts with a bigger diafragm aperture for better low light images and videos.
Galaxy S6 Active counts with a bit longer battery duration than LG G6, because it has a 6 percent greater battery capacity.
Although Samsung Galaxy S6 Active is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than LG G6, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the LG G6. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy S6 Active, else you can save some money and buy the LG G6, letting go a couple features and specs.
